LUCI CLARK
Luci is a glass artist whose work is deeply rooted in the natural world. Following studying Landscape Architecture at Edinburgh College of Art, she discovered glass and its interplay with light, colour and the inherent luminescence of glass.
Working in both leaded and copper-foiled techniques, Luci combines traditional methods such as kiln-fired glass painting – practiced since medieval times – with more contemporary processes including acid etching, screen printing and sandblasting. Her pieces range from commissions for windows and medium scale hanging panels to delicately hand painted suncatchers, each one a celebration of the natural world.

BARNEY BRITNELL
Barney has always been drawn to creating things with wood. Particularly rustic and characterful objects that let the beauty of the wood shine with little alteration. He enjoys making items that not only showcase this but that have a useful function, too.

VALERIE WHATELY
Retirement offered Valerie the opportunity to learn a new skill and she welcomed the opportunity to learn how to make jewellery. As well as using silver and copper to create her jewellery, she works with silver clay and sea glass. Living in a deeply rural area she is fascinated by nature and is inspired by flora and fauna which inspires the forms she creates in her jewellery.

KIM DAVIS
The simplicity of Kim’s vessel forms displays the grain and natural colour of the woods being used. His making is a response to the nature of the wood and is intuitive and emotional rather than prescriptive and defining; the form that emerges is a reaction to the wood being used. Although a vessel maker, his concern is with the form and surface, function becomes peripheral.
Kim’s products range from bud vases and lidded boxes to larger bowls, vases and platters, to large statement pieces, including natural edge pieces.
Primarily he likes to make shavings.

Olha's path into photography was anything but ordinary. Trained in music as a child and working in finance after graduating from university, she never planned to become a photographer, but in 2016 an unexpected turn opened a world of creativity and discovery to her as she found photography to be a way to tell stories beyond words. What began as curiosity has grown into a way of telling stories through images, exploring emotion, imagination, and a touch of magic in the beauty of everyday life.
